On Wednesday 13 December 2023, representatives and mentors from El Sistema Greece presented a two-hour professional development programme on the basic theoretical principles of El Sistema and the European project “Music for Active Citizenship: a Young Music Mentors Programme” (MAC), which uses music education to support the social inclusion of refugees and migrants.

The seminar was jointly organised by the Music Education Lab and the Music, Cognitive Sciences and Community Lab of the Department of Music Studies, NKUA, and attended by undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department. It took place in Room 917 of the NKUA School of Philosophy, from 15:00 to 17:00.
