Department of Music Studies
The course focuses on the organization of music ensembles that incorporate innovative tools and non-conventional instruments, such as music software, augmented reality technologies, body-tracking systems, haptic interfaces, and artificial intelligence, alongside pedagogical instruments like the ukulele, recorders, ocarinas, and boomwhackers. In this course, we will examine issues related to the structuring of such ensembles, the application of differentiated instruction, appropriate orchestration methods based on specific contexts, and their integration into the educational process. The goal is to foster new and expanded forms of musical creativity and innovation, as well as to explore novel modes of musical expression through the lens of contemporary digital and multimodal music literacies.
By the end of the course, students will be able to organize music ensembles using digital technologies, adapt their teaching to the needs of diverse groups, and create inclusive learning environments. The teaching approach includes both theoretical and practical perspectives, hands-on laboratory exercises, and group projects. Assessment will be conducted through written assignments and practical applications.
