Organization of Musical Ensembles

In both formal and informal settings, musical ensembles offer significant advantages in both the musical cognitive development of participating members and the emotional domain. The sense of belonging and the creation of a secure environment for expression and musical creation, regardless of their previous musical knowledge, are characteristics that should be taken into account by the educator-facilitator.

In this specific course, we will examine issues related to the organization of such groups, the implementation of differentiated teaching, the appropriate, context-specific way of orchestrating a song or an orchestral part, basic body percussion techniques, and the performance of music pedagogical instruments such as the ukulele, recorders (soprano/alto/tenor), ocarina, and boomwhackers. The course is connected to the Music-Pedagogical Group of the Music Pedagogy Laboratory.
