Workshop with Poet and Rap Artist Luka Lesson

On Friday, 6/10 (11:00-14:00, rm.741) the Music Education Lab will host a workshop with Greek-Australian poet & rap artist Luka Lesson, who will be discussing modern forms of poetry writing, memorisation, collaboration and performance. Utilising his latest body of work, Agapi & Other Kinds of Love, Luka will perform some of his poetry and rap verses, discuss the philosophy behind his creative process and dissect his collaboration with classical composer James Humberstone from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The session will culminate in a practical workshop around lyric writing, memorisation, the musicality of poetry, and performance
